A witness should NOT ALLOW their cat to eat a bird!
by gumby inwitnesses believe it would be a transgression against jehovah's sanctity of blood to give your pet a blood transfusion....even though it's an animal, blood is to be poured out on the ground and not used in any manner.

Did you ever experience "Joy"?
by Pork Chop inone thing that always struck me was the rather dour nature of the organization.
i know people laugh, and at seem to have a good time, at least occasionally.
however, one thing i just haven't seen is a real outpouring of joy, like david dancing like a crazy man or some of the other occassions in the scriptures when it seems like people were almost overcome with joy.. anyone here ever feel real joy as a witness?

The Revelation Climax book was really bad. I understand even some of the GB members think it's ridiculous.
Surprised about the reference to Commentary on James. I've always thought it's one of the best publications the organization has written.
